Getting Started
What is FACET?
FACET is a digital identity platform that lets you create multiple professional profiles and share them instantly via NFC stickers, QR codes, or direct links. Think of it as a smart business card that can change based on who you're meeting.
How do I create a profile?
Tap the gold + button in the bottom right corner. Fill in your name, title, and contact info. Choose a theme color and badge label. Tap Save to create your FACET profile.
What is the "active" profile?
Your active profile is the one people see when they tap your NFC sticker or scan your QR code. Tap the checkmark icon on any profile card to make it active. You can switch anytime!
NFC Stickers
What NFC sticker should I buy?
We recommend NTAG215 or NTAG216 chips. Look for waterproof PVC or epoxy stickers, 25-30mm diameter. These work with all modern iPhones (iOS 13+) and Android phones (5.0+). Shop NFC Stickers on Amazon
How do I program my NFC sticker?
Using NFC Tools (free on iOS/Android):
1. Open NFC Tools
2. Tap Write
3. Tap Add a record
4. Select URL
5. Paste your FACET NFC link (copy from Settings)
6. Tap OK
7. Hold your phone near the sticker
8. Tap Write to program
9. Test by tapping the sticker again
Your sticker is now linked to your active profile. Switch profiles anytime without reprogramming.
Do I need to reprogram my sticker when I switch profiles?
No! That's the magic of FACET. Your NFC link stays the same, but it always shows your currently active profile. Just switch your active profile in the app, and your sticker automatically shares the new one.
Sharing & QR Codes
How do I share without NFC?
Each profile has a QR code that others can scan. You can also tap the share icon on any profile to copy or share the direct link via text, email, or social media.
Can people save my contact info?
Yes! When someone views your profile, they can tap "Save Contact" to download your info as a vCard. This adds you directly to their phone contacts with all your details.
Account & Privacy
Is my data private?
Your profile data is only shared when someone accesses your link or scans your QR code. Profile photos are stored locally in your profile data, not on external servers. You control what information is visible on each profile.
How do I delete a profile?
Swipe to the profile you want to remove, tap the edit icon, scroll down, and tap "Delete". This cannot be undone, so make sure you want to remove it permanently.
Can people share their info back to me?
Yes! When someone views your card, they can tap "Share Info" to send you their contact details. This makes networking truly two-way.
Where do I see contacts I've received?
Open Settings (gear icon) and tap "Received Contacts". You'll see everyone who shared their info with you, and you can export the list as a CSV file.
